Would loved to have stayed longer. The Wheelers British Columbia

Along an endlessly peaceful and uncrowded shore beat your own drum;  hiking, biking, walking, kayaking, canoeing ... the choices are many

Taylor Head Provincial Park Hiking

Nearby is Taylor Head Provincial Park & Beach located just near Spry Harbour offering several small picnic areas, boardwalks to a beautiful white-sand beach and several hiking trails. Visit the Sheet Harbour Chamber of Commerce websitie for more information on the community and Taylor Head Park including events and activities.

Our rugged coastline is dotted with islands and small coves along with rivers and lakes ideal for canoeing and kayaking.

Sheet Harbour is ideally positioned to discover much of Nova Scotia in easy day trips. Less then one hours drive you can explore.....

Martinique Beach at 5km/3.1mi Martinique is Nova Scotia’s longest sand beach, and one of the most popular. The gentle surf, scalloped coves and rocky outcroppings are a great backdrop for relaxation or exploring. Clam Harbour Beach near Lake Charlotte is among the province’s most beautiful and popular beaches  Its broad, seemingly endless ribbon of sand is ideal for a seaside stroll, and is home to the endangered piping plover. If you like dramatic coastal vistas and high energy, spend a day surfing at Lawrencetown Beach
